Tony's Guitars donates a guitar for the silent auction

A beautiful blue Samick Royale Signature Series designed by Greg Bennett hollow body electric guitar, model number RL-1/TBL.  Pictures to come!  Unique monoframe construction! The sides and the center block are made from one piece of wood, rather than two sides and the center block. This creates a more rigid structure to mount the neck, top, and back into. The result is uncommon attack and sustain, without sacrificing the rich, full tone. It’s more like a solid body with incredible tone and warmth or fullness.

Marine Survey by Onslow Bay Marine Surveying, LLC

Chapman School of Seamanship certified Marine Surveyor/Consultant Will Robinson will perform a marine survey on any FRP boat 35’ LOA or under (including FRP over wood).  Arrangements and payment for haul-out are the responsibility of the winning bidder, and not included in survey.  A written report with photographs will be prepared in PDF format within three working days after a thorough visual examination of the hull, machinery, systems, rigging, hardware and equipment and will contain a comprehensive description of the vessel and installed equipment and will include: the "Findings and Recommendations" required for correction to reasonably ensure that the vessel is fit for its intended service, a statement of the "Fair Market Value and Replacement Cost" of the vessel, and will be submitted in good faith, without prejudice and will constitute a description of the condition of the vessel at the time of survey.  Minor cosmetic defects not materially affecting value may not be addressed.  Standard limitations applicable to contracted marine survey work of Onslow Bay Marine Surveying, LLC, will apply and details regarding same are available upon inquiry. Vessel must be located in Onslow, Pender, or New Hanover Counties, or must be transported by owner at owner’s expense.

Jill Needs A Bone Marrow Donor

Hi Friends. If you haven't heard, Jill's sister is not a donor match for her bone marrow transplant. I'm writing to let you know how easy it is to become a donor. I just completed the registration at http://marrow.org/Join/Join_the_Registry.aspx  and am expecting to receive my test kit in about 2 weeks. I will swab cells from the inside of my cheeks and mail back in the envelope they provide. It's that easy for them to determine if I might be a match for Jill. You can register too! Jill is hoping to find a match so she can get her transplant after the first of the year.
